 Ninh
Binh is located around 120 km south of Ha Noi with several
interesting sites like: Tam Coc- known to travellers as “
Ha Long Bay without the water”, “ Ha Long bay on the ricepaddies”
and so on, Hoa Lu-the ancient citadel, Kenh Ga Floating village,
Phat Diem cathedral remarkable for its vast dimensions, Cuc
Phuong national park....ect . The trip to Ninh Binh will bring
you to one of the most intersesting place in the north of
Viet Nam.
Itinerary
Morning:
Transfer to Hoa Lu with visit Dinh and Le King's temple. Hoa
Lu was the capital of Viet Nam during the Dinh and early Le
dynasties. The site was a suitable choice for a capital city.
Continue to Tam Coc. Have lunch before taking the boat trip
to visit Tam Coc.
Afternoon:
The boat trip to all three caves take about two hours. While
Ha Long bay features huge rock formations jutting out of the
sea, Tam Coc has them jutting out of its rice paddies. Go
sightseeing by small boat along stream and go through wonderful
tunnel and caves.
After Tam Coc, take the bus to visit Bich Dong grotto known
as the second most picturesque one in Viet Nam.
